Banana Blueberry Green Smoothie
Sometimes I crave more carbs and so I add in a banana to my smoothies to get my carb fix. This banana blueberry green smoothie hit the spot the other day. No protein powder in this one — just all ingredients from the ground! The avocado adds a great creaminess and keeps you feeling full.
Here’s what’s in this amazing plant-based smoothie:
1 cup kale
1/2 cup blueberries
1 cup (or more) almond milk
Blend until creamy and you’re good to go! If you want to add more protein, try adding a protein powder of your choice or a nut butter if you want more healthy fats. Enjoy!
