Top Down Raglan Cardigan Pockets | Bridges Cardigan
How to Knit a Raglan Sweater with a Folded Collar | The Classica Crew Neck Pullover
This pattern is part of my pattern library bundle, which includes over 30 knitting patterns.
The Bridges Cardigan is a classic top-down raglan sweater featuring 2x2 ribbing for the collar, button band, and body hem. The sweater is worked flat from the top down with raglan and neckline increases to create neckline shaping. After completing raglan increases, sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked straight and finished with 2x2 ribbing. Stitches are picked up for the button band on either side of the fronts and then stitches are picked up for the 2x2 collar ribbing, which includes an additional buttonhole. The sleeves are worked in the round with gradual decreases and finished with 2x2 ribbing. Finally, the cardigan is finished with two pockets knit separately with a buttonhole.
