The All the Vines Capelet is a simple, elegant accessory knit in Vine Lace Stitch that drapes beautifully from your shoulders to give you some added warmth with a beautiful lace texture. It’s perfect for any season – make it in wool for the colder months or a cotton blend for warmer months.

Size Guide + Finished Measurements

The pattern is written in 8 sizes, 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) with a finished circumference of 44.25 (48.25, 52.25, 56.25, 60.25, 64.25, 68.25, 72.25) in/112.5 (122.5, 132.5, 143, 153, 163, 173.5, 183.5) cm and a finished length of 14 (14, 14.5, 15, 15.5, 16, 16.5, 17) in/35.5 (35.5, 37, 38, 39.5, 40.5, 42, 43) cm. It is intended to have about 1-6 in/2.5-15 cm of positive ease so pick a size that will provide the intended ease. You can measure the circumference around your arms and bust together to determine the appropriate size. For example, I measure about 47 in/119.5 cm around my arms and bust (which is 37 in/94 cm) and knit a size 3 for about 5.25 in/13.5 cm of positive ease. Feel free to adjust length as desired.

Yarn

Approximately 412 (449, 503, 561, 620, 683, 748, 816) yds/376 (410, 460, 513, 568, 625, 684, 746) m or 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3) skeins of Lion Brand Schitt’s Creek (372 yds/340 m per 7 oz/200 g skein; 100% acrylic) or any other worsted weight yarn that meets gauge. Color shown is A Little Blush.

Needles

4.5mm (US 7 24 in/60 cm circular knitting needles (for the neck ribbing)
5mm (US 8) 32/80 cm or 40 in/100 cm circular knitting needles (for lace body)
Or knitting needles needed to obtain correct gauge.
