Knit a Cozy Drop Shoulder Sweater
The Holiday Time Pullover is a simple, cozy sweater designed to be both approachable for beginner knitters and enjoyable for more experienced makers. With its clean lines and straightforward construction, it’s a great project if you’re looking for a quick knit that still feels polished and wearable. The relaxed silhouette makes it easy to style, while the overall design keeps the knitting process intuitive and satisfying.
This sweater is knit in the round from the bottom up, then divided to work the front and back separately before being seamed at the shoulders. Once the body is complete, the collar and sleeves are picked up and knit in the round, creating a smooth, finished look. The pullover is intended to have a slightly cropped fit, but the body length can easily be adjusted to suit your personal style.
A full step-by-step video tutorial is included to walk you through the entire process, making it easy to follow along as your sweater takes shape. The written pattern is available inside my Pattern Library, where you’ll find this pullover alongside many other beginner-friendly, wearable designs perfect for building a handmade wardrobe you’ll actually love to wear.
