Knit A Simple Top-Down Raglan Sweater
The Winter Bluff Pullover is a simple, approachable top-down raglan sweater designed to make sweater knitting feel doable and enjoyable. With a clean silhouette and straightforward construction, this pattern skips complicated neckline and body shaping so you can focus on steady progress and understanding how a raglan sweater comes together. The only shaping involved is basic sleeve decreases, making it a great next step once you’re comfortable knitting in the round.
This design includes a full step-by-step video tutorial that walks you through the entire process, making it easy to follow along visually as your sweater takes shape. The written knitting pattern is available inside my Pattern Library, where you’ll find this pullover alongside many other beginner-friendly designs. If you’ve been wanting to knit your first raglan sweater — or you’re looking for a relaxed, wearable knit with minimal fuss — the Winter Bluff Pullover is a great place to start.
