Berry Banana Oatmeal Bowl

This berry banana oatmeal bowl is a great way to get your carb fix after an amazing workout. Oats have a lot of health benefits — they contain more dietary fiber than any other grain and are great for lowering cholesterol. They contain phosphorus, manganese, selenium, zinc, and magnesium and are a great source of vitamin E.

Here’s a great way to prepare your oats:

  1. Simmer 3/4 cup oats on the stove top on medium heat with 1 cup of almond milk for about 4 minutes. Continue to add almond milk to get your desired consistency.

  2. Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes

  3. Transfer to a bowl and add peanut butter, cacao nibs, and berries of choice
